Insulted...
Okay, I don't even like vegemite, but I'm sort of insulted that the Americans have banned it. I feel sorry for all the aussies over there, trying to be patriotic, as you do when you're overseas, and trying to force Americans to eat vegemite, and laughing when they spread it on too thick and think it's disgusting. Now all that's going to be illegal. That seriously has to be a novel there, right? Vegemite smugglers? Illegal Aussie Foods? Raids on backpackers hostels? Pantry inspections?

Apparently they won't let tourists bring it in, and shops are being 'prevented' from buying it.

Haha, crazy Americans! You could eat a quarter of a kilo of Vegemite every day and still be under their Institute of Medicine's safe upper limit. And really, who can stomach more than a teaspoon? ;-) Just another retreat into fear and isolationism.

(Wrazn, you know about medicine. How many people overdose on Vegemite each year?)

Yeah I know how ridiculious - too much folate apparently - what a load of. Though that would be an interesting story - are you a nanoer? You could write it for that. That'd be interesting.

First off, apologies for trolling an old post. Second, I'm here after seeing your icon over on the Friendly Hostility group. I wanted to tell you I quite like it, and to see if you'd mind if I use it on my webpage as a "contact me" button?

Which one was I using? The one with the flying rainbow ink in the shape of a face, or the Lano and Woodley "I'm Listening" one? You can use either, but I made the I'm Listening one, so, if anyone asks, I made it. :) And... what's your website, out of interest?

If you like Friendly Hostility and Lano and Woodley, have you seen the new group heard_of_it I recently created? It's for people who like obscure fandoms/non mainstream tv shows, books, movies, games, etc, and talking about it.

Sorry to take so long to reply: I've been working on other projects for a while, and am just getting caught up on my email. You were using the one with the rainbow ink, and thanks. :)
As for my website, it's http://switch.chimaeridae.20m.com/ (thinking about giving it another overhaul, once I learn enough CSS to do sommit constructive)
I'll have to give your group a look, too, while I'm puttering about. :)
